The Yorkshire Boundary Society (YBS) was established to preserve and share knowledge of the Yorkshire Boundary. In essence its’ boundary is formed by the North Sea, the River Humber, the Pennine watershed and the River Tees.
Achievements of the Society
- Assisted in the establishing of the East Riding flag on Thursday 18 April 2013.
- Assisted in the establishing of the North Riding flag on Saturday 4 May 2014.
- Assisted in the establishing of the West Riding flag on Thursday 23 May 2014.
Aims of the Society
- To erect road signs welcoming folk to Yorkshire and the Ridings
Membership of the Yorkshire Boundary Society is free to everyone who supports the aims of the society. Everyone who supports the aims of the society are free to call themselves a member of the Yorkshire Boundary Society.
